Pagans and Giving

Macha Nighmare is doing a survey on Pagans and giving. It's a timely and interesting topic, and one that Brendan Myers raises in his blog about a month ago. If you're Pagan, I encourage you to go take it. Here's the link and her note:

I am presenting a panel at PantheaCon on Pagans & the Commonweal, i.e., how Pagans involve themselves in efforts to create a better world, or for those who don't, why. To give us some idea of how Pagans do or do not volunteer, donate to charities, etc., I’ve created a brief survey. Please consider taking it before February 10, 2010. Thank you kindly.

And on the note of giving. A bunch of diviners and the MPRC have gotten together for a fundraiser this Sunday afternoon in the space above Le Melange Magique. There will be tarot reading and other forms of divination from the readers, and the MPRC will be selling off some of the doubles of books that have been donation. I think there may also be music and a bake table, but don't quote me on that. All funds raised are going to the red Cross for relief in Haiti. Hope to see you there. More information about Divine Relief is here.
